Description
A MULTIPURPOSE SENIOR CENTER PROVIDING A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES IN HEALTH, RECREATION, EDUCATION, COUNSELING, ADVOCACY, AND INFORMATION AND REFERRAL. Provides blood pressure screening, flu shots, and assistance with health insurance. Many other support services are also offered. Produces a monthly newsletter, giving details of programs.
FREE TAX PREPARATION SERVICES are available to seniors with an annual gross income of $50,000 or less.
ALZHEIMER’S SUPPORT GROUP is offered the second Thursday of each month, 10-12.
55 ALIVE DRIVER SAFETY PROGRAM is designed to help sharpen driving skills while developing safer defensive driving techniques. Pre-registration is required and can be completed in the Transportation Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is a $10 per person fee.
